Inside The Keeping Place

The Keeping Place was once a threshing barn and the huge timber beams are former ship’s timbers some 300-400 years old. The original threshing wheel has been restored and mounted in the dining hall. Our home consists of an entrance lobby, kitchen with 4 door Aga, galleried landing, dining hall with CD player, drawing room with log fire and TV/DVD, master bedroom with en suite bathroom, second master bedroom with French daybed and en suite bathroom with French doors to garden, a twin and a double bedroom with shared bathroom. South-facing walled garden with water feature and large barbecue, parking.

All beds are made up with pure cotton bed linen with feather duvets and pillows.

Broadband is available (laptop not supplied) so you can continue to communicate with the outside world should you need to, giving you more time to relax.
